As March rapidly comes to a close, we sit back and reflect on the last 30 days. We have watched anxiously as the first families walked into the center once we flipped that “Open” sign. We have witnessed new friendships blossom. We have heard many giggles of children who have been missing their friends this last year. We have comforted new homeschool families who feel like they are not “doing enough.” We have made wonderful connections and witnessed our children develop sincere friendships.
We have observed the timid child stand quietly mesmerized by the fish tank until they feel comfort enough to explore the space. We have assisted the creative young makers who use twine, buttons, and paper clips to engineer their next invention.
Board game meetups. Book clubs. Music programs. Holiday parties. This month has been filled with adventures! We are so happy at the community’s response to the center and enthusiastic about the future. We are only just beginning!
